How to make a resume on MeraCV without logging in
MeraCV is a free resume editor that runs in your browser. You do not create an account. You type, you check the preview, you download a PDF to your phone or laptop.
Start from the site, not from an app store
Open www.meracvresume.com on your phone or computer. Tap “Build free” or “Start my resume”. The builder opens blank. There is no sign-up screen and no payment step.
Fill only what the job needs
- Name and a contact method that actually rings or opens — phone, email, or both.
- A short headline if you have one, such as the role you are applying for.
- Education. Add the degree, college, years, and grade only if you want them on the page.
- Work, internships, or projects. Skip a section if you have nothing honest to put there.
- Skills and, if useful, a project link.
Empty or whitespace-only fields are dropped from the preview and the PDF. You do not have to invent a paragraph to make the layout look full.
English or Hindi labels
Use the language switch in the builder to change the interface and the section labels (Experience, Education, and so on) between English and Hindi. The sentences you type are printed as you typed them. Switching labels does not translate your content.
Choose a format, then look at the A4 preview
There are three layouts: Modern Professional, ATS Classic, and Compact Two-Column. You can switch formats without retyping. ATS Classic is a simple single column, which some applicant systems handle more calmly — it is not a promise that any system will parse the file, or that you will get a call.
Download the PDF
When the preview looks right, download the PDF. Generation happens in the browser. Save the file somewhere you control. Sharing the PDF, or opening a link you put on it, is outside MeraCV.
If you want the draft gone
Use “Clear all data” in the builder and confirm. That removes the local draft from this browser. It does not delete a PDF you already downloaded.
